Nimonic 105 Bars and Rods are superalloys composed of nickel, chromium, and cobalt, made up of roughly 79% nickel, 20% chromium, and 5% cobalt, together with minor quantities of titanium (1.2%), aluminum (1.5%), and molybdenum (0.5%) that enhance their strength. Regarding mechanical characteristics, these bars and rods offer a tensile strength between 950 and 1150 MPa, a yield strength spanning 700 to 850 MPa, and outstanding creep resistance at temperatures as high as 950°C. Their distinctive makeup guarantees exceptional oxidation resistance, fatigue strength, and steadiness under thermal stress, which makes them well-suited for high-temperature and high-performance engineering uses.
