Stainless Steel 347H Hex Bars are made up of chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–13%), carbon (0.04–0.10%), together with manganese, silicon, and stabilizing niobium. Adding niobium improves resistance to intergranular corrosion and carbide precipitation that can occur during welding and thermal exposure. These bars offer a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and 40% elongation. Thanks to their outstanding mechanical stability, oxidation resistance, and creep strength, they are well suited for high-temperature and corrosive service applications.
